How Do I Order a Bag?

If you don’t have a password yet, but are a confirmed Project 48 partner, please provide your information with your password request to info@project48.co.

Who can order a bag?

Caseworkers, CPS workers, Placement desk, Certifiers, DHS employees, and select community partners.


At this time we do not take orders from foster parents.

Who can receive a bag?

Any youth, aged 7-21, who lives in the greater Portland area, and is either entering into foster care, transitioning within foster care, or exiting foster care.

What is in a Bag?

  • 1 pair of shoes
  • 1 backpack or duffle 
  • 6 pairs of socks
  • 6 pairs of underwear 
  • 1 bra (all female bags)
  • 1 sweatshirt
  • 3 t-shirts
  • 3 bottoms (joggers and leggings or shorts)
  • 1 hygiene kit 
  • 1 period pack (for females aged 10+)

Do You Want to Refer a Young Adult to the Life Skills Program?

Life Skills is a 6-week training program for young adults aged 17-23 who are currently in or have recently exited the foster care system in the greater Portland area. If you are a caseworker or social worker that partners with ODHS Child Welfare, you can refer eligible youth by filling out the form on this page.
